Installing 'Svenska Tåg 2005' in Trainz 2006
 

Hi. I was wondering if someone could could please tell me how you install Svenska Tåg 2005 in Trainz 2006, in English, please. Thank you for your time. I thougt it was just a matter of clicking on some icon and then it would self install but I was wrong.

I'm not sure Svenska Tåg 2005 will run without problem in TRS 2006. My guess is that you will end up with a lot of missing KUID:s. The add-on pack was originally created for TRS 2004. It says on the flip side on the DVD cover that Svenska Tåg 2005 will run on TRS 2004.

Damn!!! Now I'm outta luck.:( Oh well, Thanks. I guess I can just put this CD away.

No! Don't throw it away! Most of the contents on this CD works fine with TRS2006.

It's easy really
Open a folder and click on a CMP icon, then the next etc. CMP will start in a separate window. If CMP don't start automatically just start it manually.
Do not try to install all folders at once but take a few at a time and run a commit before continuing.

Thanks Kenny. I'll give it a try. BTW, you guys said that only a few work in Trainz 2006. Any particular ones you are referring to? Thank you again. BTW, I'm a big fan of swedish trains and would love to see them run in Trainz. I hope some swedish developers would come out with some awesome swedish routes. :) Microsoft is working on nr.2 so get cracking guys :)
