Hej!
Jag är fortfarande osäker om hur det går för rutterna, kan de användas till den nya simulator?

Finns de som är mycket bättre än jag att svara på din fråga.
Men mitt svar är Ja
Man är inte tvingad att köpa nya versionen, men de som köper den får då två versioner av tågsimulatorn (gamla och den nya)

Men den rutt som du bygger just nu kommer bara att fungera i gamla versionen.
Du får vänta tills de släppt nya tågsimulatorn för att bygga rutter i nya versionen.
Det kommer troligen inte att gå att konvertera in gamla rutten i den nya tågsimulatorn.

Så man måste göra om allt igen från scratch om man vill bygga upp rutten i TS2.
Bergenbanan tror jag själv blir mycket snyggare i nya versionen med UE4

Så arbetet är inte bortkastat men på sikt kan jag tänka mig att man överger allt mer gamla versionen av tågsimulatorn och vill köra den nya
(det bygger ju att nya versionen är bättre)

What happens to TS2015 and everything that I currently own in my collection?

Just like PC gaming we are committed to continuing to support the current generation of Train Simulator for the foreseeable future. It is absolutely business as usual for the Train Simulator team, and we remain as committed as ever to the product and the hobby. We are mindful that a lot of people in the community have built up some fantastic collections of locomotives and routes over the last few years and we're absolutely going to continue to support that content, and indeed create new content, for the current generation Train Simulator. Whether or not you choose to upgrade to the next generation of Train Simulator you can continue to use the current version with all of your add-ons just like you can now.

Should I get TS2 or will I be forced to get it?

We want to make it very clear to all Train Simulator players that no one is going to be forced to buy or use TS2 if they do not want to. The decision to move onto the next generation of TS is completely up to you. Your existing version of Train Simulator will continue to work after the release of TS2 and if you are happy with what you are currently playing then you can absolutely continue to play it and expand your collection. We are working hard on TS2 to bring you brand new ways to explore the world of Train Simulator based upon the way you want to play combined with a more immersive level of realism and detailed simulation. We are confident that once you see the world of experiences TS2 has to offer you will be just as excited about it as we are.
