Default TANE SP2 - Final RC - Build 88058 Released



We've released what we expect to be the final "Release Candidate" for SP2. From here, we expect to go to official release next week.

The latest patch is a two step update from build 88004 to 88039 to 88058

This build still has assertions enabled which means that you will see some "debug" messages. Please remember that these are advisory messages and many of the reports are not a real concern to the end-user but rather informing the programmers things that require improvements or updates. These debug messages will be turned off for final release.

For example, the assertion message "MOSceneryWithTrack" will let us know if a route is suffering any possible corruption. This situation is most likely to occur due to saving a route and/or session during the beta but can also indicate earlier corruption. We know that ECML has one such assertion and we're looking at how to best deal with these long-standing but generally irrelevant assertions.

Please report any showstopper issues through the bug reporting system.

New "dev" feature:
We have added a new check box in Trainz Settings > Dev
This is titled "Show script exception notifications".
This option enables and disables the "red bugs" that you see in-game if a script shows an exception.
If you are an active session/content creator, you will want to enable this option to ensure that you see any exceptions.
Most users can leave this option unticked, unless you are trying to track down an issue with a session not running correctly.
